Arnauld Stengel is the techno project of Polaris. Born and raised in
Paris, he discovered and fell in love with House and Techno in 1989 in
the Rex club.
A couple of years later he made his passion a reality and
decided to make music a living. He started to spin records in 1994 and
began his Djing career in France and Ibiza, working his way through the
Psytrance underground party circuit delivering fresh and unique sounds
to the late night madness lovers.
After some years, he submerged himself
into the world of musical production in order to create his own sounds.
He has played in epic festivals around the world such as Sonica
festival in Italy, Ozora festival in Hungary, Universo Paralello in
Brazil, Earthcore in Australia, Full Moon in Germany, among others. He
has played as well, in worldwide renowned clubs like : Cube in Tokyo,
The Fridge in London, Batofar and Locomotive in Paris.
Arnauld Stengel
released his first track on 3D Vision Records in 2001 and since then has
never looked back, maintaining his cutting edge style that has defined
him ever since. His 3rd psytrance album has been released in July 2010
on Neurobiotic records with great success. "In Between" has been charted
#1 on Beatport psytrance top!
But it is been few years already that he
is producing Techno House besides Psytrance. It is now time to get back
to the roots and more into that kind by launching a new label : Sweep
181. You can expect quality music coming !
