New Age Hippies (Germany)
New Age Hippies is a Progressive Psytrance project from Germany by Marco Koeller and since 2009, also Jana Rockstroh, both founders of CYAN.
Starting in 2001 with the Debut-Album "Sunshine & Rock´n´Roll" on NovaTekk, they came up with lots of International follow ups and the release of the second album "Experiences" in 2006. The latest album "Entrance" was released in 2009 on CYAN.
There have been countless Live gigs since 2001, from Belgium over Germany to Austria.
The sound of New Age Hippies stands for Progressive Psytrance influenced by other genres like Techno, House and Electronica, always with great amount of Oldschool-Roots and contemporary elements.
Beneath operating the free Netlabel CYAN, New Age Hippies are also producing several side projects, like the successful Progressive project, Smooth, the Techno project, Tenonaki, the Ambient project, Jaja" and also the Downbeat and Chill Out project, Smooth Genestar.
An important thing to them is to support Creative-Commons and Open-Source projects. At their official website you will finds lots of free stuff like tracks, mixes, artworks, patches and self developed VST-Gear.
